Welcome

The Great Lakes Process Technology Alliance brings together representatives from process industries, education providers and their local communities to train an educated and versatile process technology workforce.

Our primary goal is to develop a workforce with the skills and lifelong learning tools needed to support process industries today and to adapt to the changing needs of employers in the future. As part of this goal, the GLPTA develops process technology curriculum programs and materials and establishes education standards for process control operators. We believe that these activities benefit a broad range of industries in The Great Lakes Region that depend on chemical and biological process control.

GLPTA partners are drawn from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, the province of Ontario, and Wisconsin.

The Next Regional Meeting is December 2008 in Chicago
